About Bailey

I received a Bachelors degree in Psychology, as well as a minor in both Sociology and Business from the University of Kansas. I continued my education at KU where I received a Master’s degree from the School of Social Welfare. Throughout my graduate career I worked therapeutically with clients both individually as well as within groups. I had the opportunity to provide services in schools as well as in private practice settings. Through these experiences I gained a variety of skills and tools that I incorporate into my practice.

My therapeutic style is collaborative, working with clients to tailor therapy services to their specific goals and needs. I specialize in working with children (5+), teens, and young adults in the following areas: anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, life changes, relationship building, boundary setting, and behavioral & academic concerns. I utilize a variety of modalities when working with clients including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SBFT), and Play Therapy.

I recognize that seeking out therapy can be difficult and I applaud you for taking the difficult steps to begin this process. I strive to form therapeutic relationships that help clients feel comfortable, welcome, and supported.

Personal Fun Facts: I enjoy spending time outdoors, cooking, baking, and traveling. I have a German Shepherd puppy who occupies most of my time, and I love every minute of it. I am also an avid gardener and have a variety of indoor and outdoor plants!

Please don’t hesitate to reach out with any questions. I look forward to working with you!
