About Sadie
Sadie received her Bachelor’s degree in Human Development and Family Sciences, and a minor in Conflict Analysis and Trauma Studies from Kansas State University. She then continued her education at MidAmerica Nazarene University where she received a Master’s degree in Counseling. During her time at MNU, Sadie provided her services in individual, couples, and group counseling. These experiences allowed Sadie to grow in her skills and incorporate tools from her education that she continues to utilize in her practice with clients.
Her therapeutic approach is integrative, creating a unique approach to each client’s needs. She works with children, adolescents, young adults, couples, and families. Sadie has experience working with a wide variety of presenting concerns including: anxiety, depression, grief, shame, and low self-esteem.
Sadie believes that therapy is not one size fits all, and uses an integrative approach based from empathy and a person-centered perspective to meet each client where they are. Sadie draws from a variety of modalities when working with clients including attachment, relational, experiential, and trauma-informed models.
Sadie understands the importance of connection and encouragement to navigate difficult situations and relationships that may arise, and strives to see that every client is supported through therapy. She works to create a safe environment for her clients to make change and growth in their everyday life.
Fun Facts about Sadie: I am a person of many hobbies, including reading, knitting, and gardening. I can often be found in a coffee shop or on a walk with a friend, but my ideal spot is next to a window with a book on a rainy day! I look forward to meeting you and supporting you through this journey!
